We recently stayed on a small produce farm about an hour outside of Toronto and spent a day helping out with the harvest. One of Stef's best friends works at the farm and it was great to see her and experience a bit of what she does.

The farm produces all sorts of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and herbs, so we got to see and pick a lot of produce which kept things interesting all day. It was an early 6AM start to get as much done before the heat of the day.

It was hard work but very rewarding. We were both sore for a few days afterwards, and it took a few washes to be fully clean of dirt. The Ontario countryside is beautiful with picturesque farmland interspersed with forests and lakes.
